Alex Ramos is Production Editor at Penn State University Press. He earned a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2008, an MTS in New Testament/Early Christianity from Harvard Divinity School in 2011, and his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017, before transitioning to a career in publishing. He now performs editorial work on books in a variety of fields, including religious and biblical studies but also extending to history, art history, rhetoric, and graphic novels. He also occasionally takes on freelance copyediting work. In addition to editorial work, Alex is a fine art painter working in acrylics to produce realistic still lifes.
