PhD student Julio Nascimento has received the 2023–24 Graduate Fellow Award from the Kim Center for Korean Studies. The award will support Mr. Nascimento’s original research on the Chōsen jinja shiryō, a rare source on Shintō shrines in colonial Korea that was recently acquired by Penn Libraries.
