Jay C. Treat recently won the "silver" award in the School of Arts and Sciences Staff Incentive Program.
Jay C. Treat is a manager in SAS Computing and an adjunct associate professor in Religious Studies. Jay has been involved in both Religious Studies and Information Technology since 1986, when he came to Penn as a graduate student in Religious Studies and began working on Computer Assisted Tools for Septuagint Studies. His dissertation and academic research focus on the Old Greek translation of the Song of Songs. One of his persistent interests (nourished by the Religious Studies department) is in using Information Technology to promote research and learning.
