Prof. Galit Hasan-Rokem is the Max Grunwald Professor of Folklore at the Hebrew University. A specialist in proverbs and Jewish folklore, she is the past president of the International Society for Folk Narrative Research (ISFNR). Her most recent publication is A Companion to Folklore (2012).
