Congratulations to Purvi Parikh!

Image removed.Good news!  Recent Penn PhD graduate Purvi Parikh, a student of Reigion in South Aisa in the Department of South Asian Studies, will be Assistant Professor of Religion Studies at Muhlenberg College. 

 

 

The Tenure-track line is dedicated to South Asian religions.  She will primarily teach courses on South Asian religion and ethics, as well as South Asia, more broadly.  She is part of the Asian Studies faculty, and currently serves as the faculty advisor to two student groups: the Asian Students Association and the Top Naach (Muhlenberg's first South Asian group).  She currently teaches courses on Indic religions, the moral self, and religion and secularism.
